  • You cannot be turned down for coverage if you are age 18 to 70 (18 through 64 in Minnesota) and aren't already insured under other Accidental Death Insurance from Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company.

  • This insurance pays benefits regardless of any other policies you may have. It makes a good addition to any other kinds of insurance you have and is a less expensive way to add coverage for accidental death. As a matter of fact, you can add up to $1,000,000 to the total you leave your family if you should die in a covered accident while this coverage is in force.

  • Your rate will increase only if the same change is made for all insurance of this Form issued to Insureds of the same class in the same state.

  • Yes. The Family Plan insures you, your spouse* 18 to 70 (18 through 64 in Minnesota), and all unmarried dependent children under the age of 21 (age 19 in New Jersey, 22 in North Dakota, 24 in Indiana, 25 in Minnesota, Texas and Washington, 26 in Utah, 30 in Illinois if a member of the Armed Forces of the US, 26 in Connecticut if not covered in a group plan through their own employment and a resident of CT, 25 in Missouri if not covered under any health insurance policy or under a federal or state government program and a resident of MO, 28 in Ohio (if resident), or under age 25 (age 19 in Connecticut, 24 in Louisiana, 26 in North Dakota and Illinois, no age limit in Texas, up to and including age 25 in Georgia if a resident, 24 in Delaware, 26 in New Hampshire if no dependents and resident or full-time student with no coverage from any other group or individual plan, 28 in Ohio if a resident and not employed by an employer that offers any health plan and not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare) if a full-time student at an accredited educational institution. Those insured may have no other Accidental Death Insurance with Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company.

  • The benefit will be paid on you and your spouse*. For example, if you have a $1 million policy, your beneficiary will receive $1.5 million.

  • If you return it to us within the first 60 days of the Effective Date (30 days in New York), you will receive a complete refund. Your Effective Date will be shown on the insurance when you receive it in the mail.
